production

Production involves a number of things including help with arranging, writing and recording of songs, usually from the very beginning of a project. This will end with a fully finished, releasable recording for a single, EP or album. Whether you only have a rough phone recording of you singing an idea or you have a fully written song and arrangement, I’ll help you get your music to a place you love. I currently only take in person production work.

Additional production

Additional production involves adding to, and adapting a recording to help take it to another level. This would usually involve sending me a multi-track with some notes on what you’re looking for, and I would add, edit and amend parts in my own setup. This can be in person or remotely.

MIXING

Mixing involves taking a finished recording and bringing out as much energy and emotion as possible. More then just setting some levels, I will be applying a range of processing to the multi-track to enhance the intent behind the song. All mixing work is currently remote.

Stem MIXING

The same as a mix but with stems rather than full multitrack. This is generally better for artists with smaller budgets or artists who are mostly happy with a current mix they’re working on but just want a little bit more size and energy that they can’t quite do themselves. All stem mixing work is currently remote.

MASTERING

Mastering is the final step in the process which involves a range of processing on a stereo file to make sure the song or songs translate across systems as well as working alongside each other in a release.
