FAQs
How much do you charge?
In an ideal world, I wouldn’t charge you anything but unfortunately I have bills, a family and an obsession with trying out music equipment, all of which require money.
My services are priced according to the needs of the project and I will try and find work arounds for specific parts of a project to help stay within budget where possible. I offer lower rates for independent artists when it comes to mixing and mastering.
The following are not final but general ranges for my services:
Production (per song):
£250 - £1000 gbp + points
(Commercial studio fees not included)
Mix:
£100 - £500 gbp + points
(points can be negotiated based on upfront fee)
Master:
£50 - £80 gbp
Do you offer trials of your work?
I do not offer trials for my services. However, for mixing and mastering, if you are unsatisfied after a number of revisions and do not believe I am the right person for the job, I will give you your money back.
What’s your turnaround time?
For production projects this will be discussed in detail before starting anything to make sure our schedules will work.
For mixes I aim to have a 1st version back within 7 days and for masters within 3 days, but this is dependent on schedule. Sometimes it’s within a day or 2, sometimes it’s slightly more than 7 days. Please let me know if you need any work done urgently.
What DAW do you use?
I primarily do production work in Ableton Live and I mix and master in Pro Tools. I do have experience with Logic Pro too and will use that in sessions if need be.
Do you offer attended sessions for mixing and mastering?
I do not currently offer any attended sessions. Sessions can be streamed in real time using audiomovers listento for revisions if need be.
Do you work with x genre?
I primarily work within pop, indie and alternative but will happily work on most genres. Please ask if you’d like more information on my experience with certain genres.
Do you do collabs?
I don’t usually do collabs / free work unless I have a previous working relationship with someone. If I really love and believe in a project, I may waive my upfront feet though so it’s always worth asking.
